week 10 - sickness everywhere

This week was going to be dedicated to filming but i had some things come up and I couldn’t film. I finished rigging the character, i used a mechanical rig as it is faster and easier to use for a robot, considering my character is made up of mainly metallic parts, a regular rig wouldn't have worked to my favor, as there will be deformations around the joints.

My dad got really sick and I had to look after him and take him to the hospital. Each visit took 3 hours a day and he had to sleep in the room I was planning to film in, so I had to postpone the filming. I did however test out a camera my dad gave me to film the movie, it has some great quality filming and it was fairly comfortable to use, so i got used to it pretty fast. I was planning to use my phone but I had several issues with that, the exposure kept changing and the quality wasn’t the best, it was grainy and wasn’t going to be tracking friendly. I redid my storyboards and took some test shots to demonstrate how the shots were going to look.
