This week i actually got the film out, it took a while because i had to re-shoot multiple times, there were some issues with the positioning so i had to fix that, after those were taken care of. I tracked the shots to try and implement the CG's into it but the shots were too dark, and the tracking program ended up tracking the noise patterns and ruined the camera solve, so i had to re-shoot with enough lighting to get the tracking to work properly. to speed up the process of getting the shoot out in time, i used some shots from the movie "Bumblebee" as it talks of a similar plot point, there are some great shots to use especially the one where it is shot from behind the actress. Although the shot makes the robot look more menacing, his actions make him look confused and lost, so it adds a lot of innocence to him.

With the re-shoot done, i tracked the shots and put the CG's into it, they worked well and the solve worked perfectly. It took some time to approve the mock shoot as i needed to animate the character as well, but that got done and the sequence was approved at last, with that, it came time to set up the shots and start rendering as soon as possible.
