During week 8 I mainly focused on finishing the little girl's body and making sure it was anatomically correct And I made sure that her topology was also clean and usable because we don't want to exceed the Poly count. I did model her face in 3D S Max but I exported it to Z brush to add the details so that I could fill in my self directed learning in retopologizing. the process mainly focuses on redirecting the vertices into a clean line flow and making sure that the model doesn't have too many polys because the z brush model had over 1,000,000 and that couldn't be used in production so I made sure that I reduce that by retopo and fill that also filled up my self directed learning. I watched a video on how to approach this process and I'm going to link it into this blog ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ucYBkI-YYk ) but it made it plain and simple I was trying to reach apologise in 3 DS Max and not in zbrush or Maya because it didn't have Maya and I didn't want to use the brush because I was advised not to by a friend who uses zbrush more than I do. based on how the creator approached it it seemed like a simple process it's a simple create 4 points and drag out to create a face process it didn't take long but the ear took me the longest because it had to have a specific topology and the model had to also flow with the rest of the head so I had to try to keep the ear Poly count similar to the rest of the head. after retopo I attached the head to the body and made sure that it connected without a problem and thankfully it did. before that I was working on my freelancing project for my father's company which is a villa structure from the inside, I was provided with the blueprints of the Villa as well as the outside to help me figure out how to model the inside I finished the outer part but I still didn't approach the interior so that's going to be dealt with by the coming weeks. Modelled a water gun for the UFO machine we were going to use it turned out great I also use the refract and reflect option in 3 DS Max and it made the gun look plastic which is just the look I was looking for we're also going to have a rubber duck a UFO and some balls to put in the machine which is going to populate it properly were also going to use them to populate the prize counter. In class we learned how to approach neon lighting and how to make a neon lighting setup using v Ray lighting, My friend tested the lights out and he made neon lights and they look great which we're going to be using in environment.
